Course Description
This course is designed to better prepare clinicians when working with clients with
diabetes.
Specifically, this course delves into the issue of how weight management can benefit
patients
with diabetes. Examined are the issues of why weight loss impacts the progression of
diabetes,
why it effects medication therapies, and discusses strategies for motivating your patients
to
lose weight.
